    Water Intrusion Testing

    Looking for rain testing of a double-wall metal structure. I have found : ASTM E1773 ASTM E1925 MIL-STD-810 MIL-M-8090 ISO 1496 MIL-B-28973 I haven't read these verbatum, but glanced through. I believe MIL-STD 810 may be the best choice. Thanks, Everett

    Define these steels, please

    AMS 6350 & AMS 6315 I have a gov't project and need to locat some of both. We will machine to size for later use, then heat treat to 249 KSI to strengthen. then receive items back and install. Thank you for your help, Everett

    Oil Soaking Valve springs

    I would like an education. Some time ago, I was read/told before using new cylinder head valve springs, to do two events to them. 1. Compress the spring in a vice to coil bind and return to stress-relieve. 2. Oil soak the springs overnight. Why would I oil soak a valve spring?
