should the armour of swa be earthed at both ends when this is not the main earth cpc,or is earthing at one end acceptable.also how to earth the armour in plastic boxes. some good practice or regulation would be appreciated. this for u.k. industrial sites.

at the moment encoder reference is taken straight off back of motor which is 1024 counts. this motor must be replaced and the new one has no encoder. provision is available on output of existing gearbox for mounting an encoder on site which is 1800 counts per rev. what is procedure for scaling...
