We currently are using a ferrite core wrapped in magnet wire with a cap in series to make a rf excitable lcr circuit. When exposed to rf energy this circuit rings at a certain frequency and q factor.

I have a NEMA 4X box that needs to have a threaded panel mount sma connector attached to the outside for an external antenna. Do I need to put a NEMA 4X approved gasket underneath this connector, or does the nut and washer constitute an appropriate seal to maintain the NEMA 4x rating?
