Does anyone have ideas for a source of ready made high rev back swept radial compressor wheels with cover plates?
I know turbo-chargers use have small compressors, but they tend not to have cover plates. I'm after something more like a wheel from a vacuum cleaner fan.
Preferably disk shaped...

Could anyone tell me if there are any metric tables or graphs describing pressure gains for air flowing in a pipe of increasing diameter (i.e. a conical diffuser) at various flow rates.
I'm concerned with small diameters - 10mm to 100mm.

Does anyone know how the nozzles on spray painting equipment atomize the paint? I understand that the paint is pressurised and then passed through a spinning nozzle. But what pressure is used and what mechanism charges and then atomizes the paint?
