    Spatter Resistant Materials

    Can anyone recommend any GMAW spatter resistant materials? Typlically we use elkonite or brass for spatter guards. We are looking for an alternative material, coating, etc that may be more cost effective and provide sufficient or better results. Thanks Jeff

    Weldability Range, What does this value mean?

    I curently have a material specification sheet that has some parameters for Resistnace Spot Welding USIBOR 1500P material. It states the minimum current (12.3 kA), maximum current (13.7 kA) and weldability range (1.9 kA). What does the weldability range value mean?
