What is that sticky goo that builds up on the rubber keys within a standard TV remote control?
It gets on the PCB and causes conductive switch contact failure.
Does anybody know of a remote control that uses standard metal dome switches so I don't have to replace my remote controls every 5 years.
I'm searching for a calibrator.
I'm eyeing up either the Martel MC-1200 -or- Fluke 726
I like the MC-1200's keyboard, but, we all know the Fluke name.
Does anyone have any comments on these units, or any other units, or any links to web pages offering reviews on calibrators.
I'd like to use the Maxim MAX6674 thermocouple interface, but, I'd like to monitor temperatures less than 32degF.
Has anyone used any tricks to run this interface 'below ground' and measure temperatures less than 0degC?
I'm new to patch antenna design. I'm trying to find out the best software to design 900 MHz F antenna's as well as some rectangular patches in 900 & 2.4G ISM bands.
I downloaded (free) Sonnet and tried a 2.4 GHz patch design with it. It's 37.1x28.9mm with coax feed at 18.5 and 7.1mm. It's on...
I want to run a wire in PVC pipe under a racetrack to detect vehicles passing over it with 900MHz transmitters.
Does this sound insane? If not, what kind of antenna wire should it be?
Anybody know of another transmission medium which would be better (magnetic, SW, HF, ???)
Does anybody have a link to VHDL code to transform say... XC9572 &
CY7C1399 into a 'slow' Dual 16Kx8 FIFO (for about $3.65 in Qty 100)
IDT's stuff is too $$$$ and I don't really need the 'instantaneous'
simultaneous access from "both sides"... handshaking with ready/done deal
is good enough.
I'm designing a product requiring immunity to suprise power disconnects. I need to maintain power to the circuitry to complete the sector flashing of a secure digital card write. I'll be using a LM2676 switcher @ 3.3V. Do I need to put a diode between the output of the switching regulator (coil...
I have an application where I need a 5V output signal to have a selectable 510 ohm pullup resistor applied. I have this circuit configured similar to a high side switch using a PNP BJT. The PNP sits between the 5V rail (== PNP emitter) and the 510 ohm resistor (== PNP collector). The PNP base is...
