Hi,
I am looking for a good testing procedure to define the maximum and minimum void ratio (or porosity, or specific gravity). Should any1 have any good references or ideas please help me out.
Thanks
Does anyone know anything about the viscosity index (Iv) and its relation to viscosity or/and the liquidity limit (WL). It is a useful parameter to describe the viscous flow of soils (i.e. in a creeping slope).
Does anyone know any references or has any available data on complete triaxial drained tests on Sands? I do not need them to be preoccessed (i.e. diagrams) just the sample characteristics prior and after the shearing.
Moreover, if anyone is interested into applying equations on v (specific...
Again about Sands. As you may know, in a v-lnp' plot, the CSL of strength for Sands is initially curved. This means that at low confining pressures we need to model the critical state line of strength apart from the final linear part which is much better defined. For this purpose, people use the...
I was wondering if any of you guys have a clue how could i find (any special reference) complete triaxial tests on Sands in order to identify basic properties about their critical state, i.e. M (inclination of CS strength line in q vs p' plot), maximum and minimum density and point of deflection...
