I have to model the process of sintering in a model which has to do with powder metallurgy in a FEM program; I have been told that ABAQUS has a module specially designed for this, is this true?, does anybody know where I can find information about this?

I need to export some graphics of an ABAQUS essay to MATLAB, but when I try to edit the file, ABAQUS shuts down. I have copied the file in my computer in order to open it in MATLAB, but I don´t know how to do it. Can anybody help me?
