My Plant Manager has come with an idea to have one coolant for all machines (including a creep feed grinder). I disagree with this , I think the creep feed should use a semi synthetic coolant specially formulated for this process (TRIM EP 320 for eg.)
Any inputs/comments ?
Thx

I am currently comparing THK and NSK linear rails. Everything appears similar with the exception thatNSK is cheaper. I have also looked into bearing design, load capacity etc.
Any experiences with the above two?

I have a high frequency induction furnace that is not grounded well. The operator holds his finger near a screw and a spark jumps from the screw to the finger. My question is, why doesn't he experience an electric shock? Is it because of the high frequency?
Thank you in advance...
