Sometimes when I add my first base view, I get dimensions that appear which where taken from my feature sketch, but they're none associative. How do I get these dimensions to come up on every part? They appear sometimes but not all the time. Its very useful when detailing slotted holes, ect...
Before 2010 I could simply right click the part or assembly in the browser and uncheck visible? The visible command is still there but grayed out.

It happens more with parts created from content center, which are copyed, and renamed. The renamed part still has the old number in the assembly tree!

I know you can open an inventor.dwg in AutoCAD. However, when ever I open, it comes in "sheet" not model space, and my dimensions are in "inches" not millimeters.

Has anyone seen a bar grating material for inventor?
I was able to create a catwalk material with round holes using perferate metal, by changing the scale. I am now trying to get a materal that looks more like bar gratting.

If I had two brackets in a sub assembly, used 10x in my main assembly. Is there a way to have the parts list give the total number of brackets used in the main assembly?
