    Plating & hydrogen embrittlement

    What do you all think? I need to have a spring made of A228 music wire plated. We've used zinc-chromate before in the refrigeration industry with good success. I'm thinking I should specify a baking operation to reduce the chance of hydrogen embrittlement, what do you guys think? Thanks

    Dis-similar piping materials / galvanic corrosion

    Does anyone have a any experience welding stainless steel piping components to carbon steel pipe in outside industrial applications? I've read that galvanic corrosion can be an issue. Does anyone have any experience with this, and is there a way to stop it?

    Solenoid Tube Burn Through
