    Fall Arrest Factor of Safety

    I have an anchor point that should be designed for 5000 Ibs as per OSHA , that will be based on factor of safety of 4. My question is, should i factor the 5000 Ibs or not ?, i found that some application factor it by 1.5. Thanks
