We have a 4160V, 3000 hp circulation water pump motor where the stator coils show cracked VIP resin at the spacers and this is typical all the way around on the ODE with little on the DE. I am curious to know if I should be concerned about this. Does anyone know what could be the cause...
Can anyone point me in the right direction, to correctly size a transformer for a 3 phase motor starter? I am interested in calculating the correct power rating in KVA.
I am not sure if this is correct, but I am using this formula: KW = HP * 746 / 1000
KVA = KW * 1.5(Form Factor)
This is new to me so I would like to ask for some assistance on how to integrate a (Foxboro IA) data highway and ethernet. The ethernet will be used to send alarms from the transforer to the control room, using Allen Bradley PLC. So far this is what I have. Currently a (Foxboro IA) is used...
I would like to ask if anyone has used the product, Envirotemp FR3 Fluid manufactured by Cooper Power System to retro-fill an existing distribution transformer(7500 KVA)?
If so, would you recommend it?
Thanks, ahead of time.
