The software is Autocad 2004.
I am not the one using it, so the following details are all I know.
The bottom Status bar, where it shows Target, Coords, and then the SNAP|GRID|ORTHO|POLAR|OSNAP|OTRACK|LWT|MODEL buttons, get's overwritten sometimes.

We have several different programs in use here at work - and the worst BYFAR is AutoCAD 2004, nothing but problems!
Well - one of our engineers will use nothing but 2004, and the rest of us use 2000 (when using 2D software).

When I pull a new part into a new drawing view in Paper Space it automatically - automatic dimensions it. All this does is causes me to have to erase the dimensions it creates.
Can someone tell me how to turn this off please?
Whenever I create a new drawing view in PaperSpace sometimes lines will dissappear. It isn't any lines in particular, or a certain layer, etc.

Note the nodes on the ends of the dimension lines - there is supposed to be a line vertical on the right side there - and the horizontal...
When you go to draw a circle, you know it defaults to radius. Why is beyond me - very rarely do I draw a circle according to it's radius. I was wondering if there was someway to change that.
I would rather it default to diameter - is there anyway to make it do so?

The basic problem is I can't snap to dimension lines or points. This makes it impossible to line up dimensions without exploding them. I know I can use "dimcontinue" when going down a line - but that isn't what I need most of the time.
I have never had a problem with this until after I loaded...
