Looking for information when the old green covered CRSI concrete design manuals might have been published.
I see several different publication dates for sale at used booksellers, but I recall the cover color but not era of the book that I am interested in.
Looking at an old set of plans dated 1951 and there are two longspan joist designations that I don't see in my limited vintage literature.
First: (26" Longspan Joists #2610) x 51' clear
Second: (26" Longspan Joists #2614) x 51' clear
Anyone have any information on these?

We have a 12" thick brick wall (3 wythes of 4" brick) that we would like to attach a beam support bracket to, presumably with epoxy anchors, but we don't find definitive information about load capacities or even compatibility for anchors.

A Contractor working on my project has requested a letter, based on the concrete test results, stating that it is "Safe" to erect the structural steel on the foundation he has built. He claims that based on OSHA regs, a Structural Engineer must give the go ahead.
No one has asked such a thing...
After reading many of the posts, I have yet to see a solution to a firewall problem that we are trying to solve.
We are building adjecent to the exterior wall of an existing building. We need a seismic/expansion joint the a 2 story masonry firewall, then our new steel framed 2 story building...

I have RAM Beam but it doesn't print properly under XP and is not current with AISC values for stud capacities.
Need other sources.
