I have made some sort of change in sketch settings to get these red arrows when invoking Rapid Dimension (see graphic). What do they mean, and how do I turn them off?

Ideas on how to shade various surfaces (or otherwise identify)in isometric views (see graphic)? This shading is then noted on the drawing as referencing a particular class of surface.

Why is it so difficult sometimes to dimension to theoretical sharps and holes center with center symbols? Sometimes it works well, and others not. Is there a sequence required. On current drawing, theoretical sharp is not selectable at all, as a first extension nor second extension...

Quite often I import Autocad DXF sheetmetal flat patterns, which include bend lines. I then convert the bend lines, in the sketch, to reference lines. I then extrude and convert to sheetmetal. Now I want to use those reference lines as bend lines, but "add bend" will not allow me to select...
I have a weldment with 55 parts. It Is comprised of approx. 95% imported IGES part files from old Mechanical Desktop models. The assembly file is 58mb, and saves are long and can't functionally create PDF or plot the file.

I'm sketching a circle (hole) and need to dimension to the center line of a slot on another plane. I choose Horizontal Dimension, hover over the sketched circle, but no option to choose center. It keeps trying to dimension from tangent. Also same action when hovering over slot on other plane...
I have a (3) parts assy (weldment), Parts A,B,C.
I decide I want Parts B & C to be seperate sub-weldment, and placed in the parent weldment, without losing constraints. My thought was to
1.) save the top level weldment as is
2.) delete item C, leaving the constraints and parts B,C
3.)...
While in model, if I edit sketch in rollback, add a couple of holes, save. Go to my drawing with a previous layed out flat pattern, no holes. Create a new view with ne flat pattern, they appear. How do I get them into the original flat pattern?
