I've opened a low voltage CT rated 300/5A to see internal construction details and have observed the secondary is composed by two parallel windings: One has 60 turns (which seems right) but the other has only 59 turns and is constructed with a thinner wire.
Can anybody explain this? Julian
I am looking for an easy to use and cheap method, or equipment, allowing to measure filament temperature in operating incandescent lamps (tungsten filaments). High accuracy in not requested; plus minus 100º celsius uncertainty is allowed. Julian
For magnetic messurements purposes I'm trying to build an analog integrator. The objectives require an OP amp, or similar, whith an offset voltage lower than 10 microvolts and biass currents lower than 10 picoamps.
Any help will be appreciated regarding Op amp type or any other suggestion. Julian
Equivalent resistance or reactance (impedance in general) is the resistance value that primary "feels" when a resistor is connected on the secondary, or is the quotient of voltage and current of primary for a connected secondary resistor (and vice versa)
Equivalent impedances can...
