Welds strength?
Is the weld strength govern by weld electrode or base metal? In LRFD, the strength is govern by electrode(Fexx=70ksi), and the area is weld neck area. But the AWS D1.3, the strength is govern by base metal strength and its thickness.
That makes a big difference on allowable...

1. 10 ft long;
2. 48 in wide;
3. 450 fpm for belt speed;
4. 12 inches for pulley diameter
Considering the speed and length, what kind of splice you think will be good? if use mechanical type, any bad effects?

I don't understand why the PDMWorks references or reporting function always have a blank quantity column.
In BOM, it automatically creates the quantity for references. But in PDMWorks it is just blank.
How to make it link to the quantity of BOM?

I tried to manage autoCAD dwg files by PDMW. The associations I added seem to be unreasonable (reverse of SW concepts). For example, I check the top assembly drawing (DWG) in first, then check part drawing (DWG) and add association simutaneously. The part drawing did list under the assembly...
I have been obssessed with PDMWorks display problem. I am using SW 2004 with PDMW 2004. The mouse cursor disappears and right click menu missing text, and many other odd things. Anybody has same trouble? Close sw and re open sw will fix the problem. Then it shows again and again.
