How do you design a 120VDC Permanent Magnet DC Motor?

Most of the PMDC motors that I see are designed for 24VDC. From what I read, a PMDC motor can be made to run at 180VDC(peak). What changes in construction of the motor are need to support higher input voltages?

    DC Motor Voltage Ratings

If the motor rating is 24VDC, does this mean that the peak voltage should not be larger then 24Volt. Therefore a rectified 48V(peak-peak) sine wave would be the maximum wave that could be put into a 24VDC motor; Is this correct.

    24VDC Motor Drive From 120VAC

I am looking for a micro DC motor maybe 50mm x 35mm in size. If I could find a 120VDC motor and use it with a full wave rectifier that would be great, but most of the motors I see are 24VDC (or lower). What is the minimum circuit need to drive a 24VDC motor from 120VAC? Space is a concern and...
