I was trying to create a hole table for one of the job and noticed the call out something weired.
The counter bores are far side of the view, but the call out showing Near Side.
How can I make it to show "Far side" in the Call Out?

I was trying to re-install SolidWorks 2010 on a Windows XP machine. I did a complete uninstall of SW, but the registry entries are still there. I tried to delete the following "HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Solidworks", and I couldn't.
I was following the instructions as per the FAQ...
Is it possible to make the thread (Cosmetic thread) visible in an assembly drawing?
It is visible in individual part drawing but not in assembly drawing.

Hi,
I created a custom component to add into the toolbox.
Everything looks OK,except I cannot add this to an Assembly.
When I configure Toolbox I can see everything in order.(toolbox-2. jpeg)
When it is inserted into Assembly, I am getting error message as shown in toolbox-1.jpeg

I am new to SW 2008 and I imported a parasolid file into an Assembly environment.
When I check the mates,it is showing "Fixed" on all parts.
Is it possible to delete the current mates and assign new mate conditions?
I tried to delete the existing "Fixed" mate and it doesn't work.

When I open a day old SW drawing file, all Tool Bars and icons are grayed out except "save" and "print."
I can create a new drawing,save and open again without any problem.
Any idea why this mysterious problem happening?

When I open a parasolid file in 2009 as an assembly,It doesn't retain its original part colors. Once it finished loading the whole assembly changes to Grey.
If I open the same parasolid file in 2008, all individual parts retains its original colors.
Is there any settings in SW 2009 to maintain...
I am just curious,is it possible to limit the table height and space it into two column table instead of one long table of the whole paper width.

When I click "OPEN" in SE 18,it takes long time to open the dialogue box.
It also takes long time to switch between the applications like drafting and modeling.
Is there any settings to get rid of this and switch/open faster?

The default is:
CTRL+SHIFT+Middle Mouse Button=Pan
CTRL+Middle Mouse Button=Zoom
Middle Mouse Button=Rotate
Is there a possibility to change or modify this?
