Does anyone have a procedure for the measurement of aerodynamic noise from valves. In particular, steam power processes. I'm looking for a field measurement test rather than a lab test.
Thanks.
Im looking for a method of predicting the reduction in water droplet size with time due to evaporation.
I'm trying to learn more about the mechanics behind desuperheating steam (adding atomised water to steam to control temperature).
Any help in this area is appreciated.
Does anyone have any information on acceptable valve end loading due to piping stesses? We have customers who often ask for the allowable loads that valve ends can withstand.
Or, is there any guidelines to show the expected load that a given pipe may exhort on a valve due to pressure or temperature?
