Does anyone know of a piece of commercial equipment that will detect the distance from a start terminal to an "open" in a magnetwire wound coil?
I need a solenoid design program that uses the traditional NI calculations, the effect of bobbin geometry and the magnetic permeability and geometry of the plunger and frame. The desired result would be the solenoid force vs distance.
