I have a 1" diameter strand on an existing 1970s rehabilitated cable/wire rope bridge that I am analyzing. I know that the steel material is not of A36 type. I am looking for help in coming up with the minimum tensile strength. Please help.
Does anyone has experience in the design of Conveyor Belt Bridge? It will be used to transport broken rocks from one side of a quarry to another location over a stream. Generating the design loading will be helpful. Thanks.
Has anyone retrofit a bridge with dog-legged beam hinges? If yes, give me some pointers on eliminating some of the hinges and expansion joints on bridges. Thanks
