    whitemetal and US Legisation?

    I have been told that planned or implemented Legisation in US forbid or will forbid the use of Whitemetal bearings in fields like sterntube bearings or rudder bearings. However I have not been able to find any info. Can anybody help me?? Arne Essa Madsen AEM Engineering Denmark.
