    NTC thermistor

    I am using a surface mount 100k 0805 NTC thermistor which the data sheet says its max operating current is 0.14 mA . Is this max before the self heating becomes a problem ? This does seem a rather low figure , so some reason I have not come across this before . Regards...

    American mains voltages
