Hello,
I have a low hours Mitsubishi Movemaster super RV-EN5J robot that we used to use in a robot cell for welding some time ago. It's a 6 axis 12lb capacity robot. I know we paid around 43k for it sometime around 2000. I am considering selling it on E-bay, but I have no idea what it is worth...
I am a toolmaker for my family owned business. I have an opportunity to purchase a nice heated CVD vacuum chamber for a low price.
I know very little about the process or how it actually works, but I would like to.
We perform a lot of tube cutting via the supported shear process. Our tooling...
Pictured below is a PCB from a tool changer in one of our older cnc machines. One of the LED's has been damaged and I would like to replace it. Parts are hard to find for this older unit and if I can ID this LED it should be an easy fix.
It's a 3mm dia LED, the circuit board has IH T-D94V-0...
I am looking for a simple inexpensive countdown relay timer. This is for a price sensitive higher volume OEM application so a low price is essential. It will not be loaded over 3 amps @ 120VAC. Preferred time range would be 12-120hrs but this is somewhat flexible.
It will be simply switching...
I want to build a sensor similar to the image below. I am only using this image to help represent the concept.
Imagine a second 'curtain assembly' place in front of the first and rotated 90 degrees.
My objective is to determine the position of a part approx 1/4" sphere as it falls through...

I am using b-7 alloy right now but would like something stronger. Going to a larger threaded rod is possible but with substantial rework required.
B-7 is approx 125,000 tensile can anything available beat this?
Thanks!
I have a single phase 115v hoist
It will not start on it's own. If I spin it while holding the up or down button on the pendant it will run fine.
It also will run in either direction I start to spin it in, regardless if I am pressing the up or down button.
I checked all of the switch wiring...
I have been working on a project recently where I want to turn a stepper motor via an air turbine to generate power. It works pretty well I have 160vdc @ .14 amps on one of my steppers and this is more than enough power for the circuit it needs to run. My question is this, is the stepper the...
I hope someone here can help, this is an odd question but here goes.
I would like to use a stepper unipolor or bipolor whatever would be better suited to generate ac power and then rectify it to DC.
My question is this, just for a number assume I am looking for 24vdc@ 2 amps how would I go...
I need no positional control or direction (fixed one way). I need speed control only (external pot) 0-60 rpm @ approx 100oz-in torque. Any recomendations?
I know I could do this myself but I'd rather recieve a complete unit as I'n not set up to assemble these in volume.
Any help would be...
I have an application where I will need to rotate a stepper at variable speeds from 0 to 60 rpm. I would like to have the maximum torque possible (not sure of driving configurarion desired?).
I would like to have this controlled with a simple Potentiometer. I am quite sure this can be done...
Hi,
I am a machine builder and I am going to be building a press feed for a new job we hope to get. I am very good with PLC's, Robots, Controls in general but I have not had the need to get into servo controls until now.
My application is really pretty simple, with only a few different motion...
Hello all, I am building a machine for our plant to cut large round tubing. Although I doubt I am going to get an answer here (it's a tough problem. I'd like to at least get some points in the right direction on where to go to get an answer.
The method of cut off will be the supported shear...
