    Bending moment on shank of bolt

    Hi, I am wondering if anyone could shed a light on the ways to calculate the bending moment due to shear, on the shank of a long bolt. More specifically, how to accurately determine the bending moment arm when the long bolt is subject to shear? Many thanks!
