I am trying to find an estimated density of coke when it builds up in FCC lines. There are lots of references to bulk and piled coke densities but none I've seen for buildup.

In addition to my previous post. Other than in the base of the slugcatcher, has anyone experienced significant build up in other sections? separation section, intermediate section or receiving section fingers.

I have been asked if our company can determine a sludge level in a Slug Catcher. This is a new area for us and we wish to make a better informed descision. The enquiring contact has little info on the subject.
What I need to know is... What is the typical composition of sludge found in the base...
What is the typical composition of sludge found in a slug catcher? And has anybody had any experience in determining the amount of build up for cleaning preparation?
