I have a situation where it it agvantageous to have an air lift inclined at (Approximately) 60 degrees from horizontal. The scenario is located in a wastewater clarifier, domestic sludge. WATER TREATMENT QUESTION
IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT WITHIN A WATER SYSTEM ANY INCREASE IN Ph WILL ADVERSLY AFFECT any CL DISINFECTION CAPABILITIES; THEREFORE pH MODIFICATION SHOULD HAPPEN AFTER THE DISINFECTION (i.e. CONTACT TANK EXIT) IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
