I have a topic just for fun. My friend believes that a car exhaust system rusts (and fails) mostly from the outside in. I think it rusts from the inside out and then fails. As a result, he paints his exhaust system with high temperature paint to inhibit corrosion. Any ideas, comments?? C...- Hatch

Overhung Blowers/Fans
In my experience, overhung blowers are a maintenance nightmare. When new, they seem to run within specs, but as they get older, high vibration problems seem to ocurr overnight and the fix is not always obvious.
