I want to use this chart to size an exhaust stack for a natural gas microturbine. Turbine manufacturer calls for maximum of 0.75" H2O back pressure on exhaust; the exhaust outlet design temperature is 500 deg F; ambient inlet air; turbine fuel input is 9 therm/hr; let's say our system...
In the anaylsis of a natural gas fired combustion turbine--at varying inlet air temperatures--what is the correct assumption to make regarding the inlet air flow: constant mass flow rate or constant volumetric flow rate or do both vary greatly with inlet air temperature?
