The problem at hand is do we need to include thermal insullation? Climate is moderate...

I am designing a pumping system for purpose of sterilization of small water systems.
System will basically contain a 100l tank - boiler in which water is heated to 90 C, and a pump to run heated water through the pipes.
Piping is 1'' dia, so I guess that the 1 l/s flow is ok...
Do anybody here has any experience with small hydro projects?
In particular, I am interested to find reference data for weight and cost of electromechanical equipment for mini hydro projects.
