Hi, as a PLC programmer with no (yet) experience of VB, I could do with some guidance. I have an app to develop that will take an ASCII text string (from a PLC) from the serial COM port and save it as a file, the file name being sequentially numbered (0000-9999) with a .prd extension. Once at...
I have just read that the licence manager for v5.3 differs greatly from the old AUTHORSW disk method of authorisation.
The Siemens blurb says that you can now have s7 installed on as many PC's as you like and you only pay for the number of licences required for simultaneous users. Surely this...

Urgent problem with an SF off-delay timer in Step 5.

Anybody know a good resource for WinCC self-teaching ?
I have the config and comms manual on CD-ROM, but it's bloody awful to read.
Any good 3rd party books ?

Hi,
I run a process using S5-115 plc with WF470 graphic card and WS 496 keyboard (Siemens part no 6FM1496-1BB20).
I could do with a spare keyboard, part is obsolete.
Anybody upgraded from WF470 and got a spare or know where there may be one ?
Thanks
Darren
