    Corrosion of glass in sea water

    I'm doing research on the corrosion of glass in sea water and am trying to determine how high pH, alkalinity and hardness contribute. I have references that note water tends to leach out the soda and lime in glass but wondered if someone had more to say? Thanks, R.LaMotte
