Does anyone know how to calculate the shear capacity of an irregular section? I am designing to AS3600 but would like to know other design methods to different codes as well. The irregular one I am currently dealing with is very close to a quarter of a circular column.

AS2870 says that for waffle on piers, not shear fitments are required for internal rib when piers are located on the intersection of every third internal rib.
