Difference between IT6 and H6 when applying to parts?
It’s a bit of a nooby question, but I was asked to put tolerances on a part and I was asked to use IT6 as the tolerance. I understand that IT is a class and 6 is the grade of tolerance, and H6 is a fit tolerance with no deviation (from what I’ve seen). My question is in the drawing/part why...- David R

Surface finish & flatness - partial surface
Does anyone have any tips on how to do a call out for surface finish and flatness on partial surface? I have a square part which on the bottom there needs to be a surface finish on a rectangular area of the middle of the parts surface. I’m not sure how to do this I was thinking of drawing an...- David R
