We have a 30" B16.47 std blind flange as top cover of a vertical vessel. On this flange a 2" hole to be drilled centrally to fix a nozzle on it. Can we proceed with a standard flange without doing an Appendix -2 calculation.
We have a vessel having internal coil with higher design pressure than that of vessel. For calculating the coil inlet and outlet nozzle thickness and reinforcement do we have to consider the design pressure of coil which is higher?
