AS3600 - Anchorage of shear reinforcement by welding
Section 8.3.2.4 of AS3600 notes that anchorage of shear reinforcement can be achieved by welding of the fitment to a longitudinal bar. Other than that statement, there doesn't appear to be much more guidance on what this welded connection should look like. I had a look in AS1554.3 (appendix F)...- dangee
