Post embedment into concrete pier
I am designing a sport netting structure (post and pier). just wondering what formula or rule of thumbs are out there for required embedment of the post into the pier in order to ensure the post acts as a fixed connection into the pier? pier is 450mm dia and 3.5m deep post is 219X6.8 CHS...- EliotGreenwood
