    Fiber CW vs QCW mode

    Hi guys, I have recently got chinese 500W fiber laser with IPG source. The source has continuous and quasi modes. I only cut in CW mode with good success. Can anybody explain why would I use QCW(pulsing) mode? Thanks in advance
