    SA516-70 shear strength

    Hi, I am designing a proprietary nut 1/2-13NC. Can not find a shear strength for material SA516-70. Is the following formula OK for internal thread stripping area: Asn=3.1415*Le*Ds min*n*(1/(2*n)+0.57735*(Ds min-En max)) Thank you.
