I seem to be having trouble using the cut with surface. Is it not possible to cut a part(solid) with another part(surface) in a assembly. the solid is in edit part mode. Do the solid and surface have to be in the same part? Thanks 112275

With SW2004 sp03 can I save a drawing in DXF format without the curves and lines separating. need to output to toolpath software for sheetmetal cnc routing. and joining the curves in time consuming. Thanks

I have a lofted part containing 3 sketches and a guide curve. now i want to change the profile of the sketches in the part. How can i design the part so that if i change one sketch then all the sketches will change.

I hve a sheet metal part that i alumunum 0.08" thick. one of the edges is curved an i need to fold a 1" bend along that egde. any machine that will do this? there are also other patterns similer to this but the curve is not he same. the machine would need to adjust for the varied curves.

I have a drawing made up, and after inserting some ordinate dims and rebuilding I get the message "Some dimensions are no longer in the model , missing dimentions will be deleted". then they all disappear. Can someone tell me why this message appears. Thanks in advance.

It would seem that when i try to print full scale drawings with a hp 750 line printer that the width of the part is correct but the lenght is off by quite a bit. about 10mm on a line that should be 735mm long. Anyong have a guess as to why. thanks in advance.

I need to form a 1" flange along a curved edge of 10 gauge aluminun 5052-h34. curve would be aprox 48" long with a 6 foot radius. What type of machine would do this. also i would want the part to also be resonably flat thanks

Anything i should know about plotting full scale drawings with solidworks. Some of the parts will be about 27" wide by 98" long.
