Q&T SAE 1085 on a belt furnace. Been getting non-resolvable pearlite in the as-quenched structure. Some details: Part is 0.5" OD x 3.5" L. Pic shown is core at high mag, pearlite starts around mid radius. Cycle: Soak at 1550F for 1 hour then quench in 130F oil Have been using same oil type...- glj1017

HT warping
Have a very thin inner race stamped from 1075 and 90 degree lip cold worked. Material is sperodize prior to being stamped and then sent for q&t by an outside heat treater on a continuous belt. Been having warping issues. Question: would getting the stamped and formed part REsphereodized or...- glj1017
