I was one of the engineers working on this project over the last few years. With regard to the fuel, it is certainly no more dangerous than conventional fuels. In fact much safer, you just mustnt let it come into contact with anything organic. But as a fuel it has much to offer.
It's made from...
Please advise
We have a 45 gallon drum of chemical which we are told is dangerous, and we want to dispose of it, BUT we are not chemical engrs, we have no idea about these things.
The label on the drum is as follows.
VORANATE M220 - UN no 2489
( Diphenylmethane 4 - 4 dysocyanite isomer /...
We have a prototype high temp incinerator, the exhaust gas is urged along, at low pressure, by a vac pump which is way down stream in the cool area.
When the gas leaves the incinerator it is at quite a high temp, approx 600 deg C. but as it cools down there is a tar like substance that settles...

Has anyone got any experience of horizontal rotating incinerator plants that can operate in the range of 1800 to 2000 deg Cent. ( Serious stuff ).
We are experimenting but many probs. Help.
We are trying to source 2 bearings with external gear, similar to a slewing ring. Max od 519mm ID = 341mm This is to support a horizontal rotating high temp incinerator made from a special type ceramic. The problem is that the ambient temp is too high for the bearings.
We were wondering if...
Can anyone advise on the problems with regard to the parralleling of two or more 3 phase generators. Must they all be of the same output? how do you get them all to "lock " into the same phase sequence. I realise that if the phase sequence is not synchronised it would be quite dangerous.
