    SSD recommendation

    Hi, Can anybody recommend a SSD say around 500Gb, I'm running NXNastran mostly linear statics sol 101 and sol701 (explicit Adina). Platform is a Dell T5400 with 24Gb of ram and 2quad cores. I know it needs to be fast but have no experience of what to look for! Many thanks

    NX Nastran multi cores and hyper threading

    Hi, Is there a limit to the number of cores NX Nastran can address using SMP? I currently use 8 OK, has anybody used more or know of a limit? also can NXNastran use hyper threading? Again, anybody used hyper threading and level of success? Is there a limit? Any info gratefully received. Thanks

    Hi, Is there a limit on the number of cores used for SMP in NX Nastran? I have 8 running OK, anybody have more or know of a limit? Also, in the same vein, does NX use hyper threading? Again any limitations? Main interest is using sol701 (Adina) on very models. Any help much appreciated. Thanks
