    Topping hob allowance

    can anyone tell me what is minimu and maximum topping hob allownace for worm wheel manufacturng. I am using 0.5-0.6mm, but I wander if I can use 0.2-2mm. What would be the result of doing that? Cycle time only? feaibility of the hob to do so?
