    USGS Seismic Design Maps and the Government Shutdown.

    Due to the government shutdown, the website geohazards.usgs.gov is unavailable. I use this website to get all of my seismic design parameters when determining my loads. What are other avenues to get these design parameters until the government gets up and running again? David

    Monopine and monopalm branch modeling in RISA Tower

    I am running analysis on monopoles disguised as pine trees and palm trees using RISA Tower. My questions is, how does one model the faux tree branches to determine the added wind load to the structure? Are there industry standards for this or is it different for each manufacturer? Thanks...
