    please help adhesive removal

    Hi, I removed vinyl decals from a 20 yr old motorcycle fairings. Vinyl came off with hairdryer. Left adhesive residue on panel. Panel is plastic and is original, painted by suzuki. Decals were put on over paint and not top coated. I have so far tried, petrol, acetone, brake fluid, lighter fluid...
