Is there a way to display the contoured stress results of both plate and beam elements, simultaneously. My first assumption is no, given that the two results are categorized by two completely different Contour Styles.
Thanks in advance,

Is there a way to select a group of rigid elements and reverse the nodal dependencies from dependent to independent, or vice versa? I have a situation where a unzipped a plate mesh from beam elements and attached using rigid elements, but I need to reverse the dependencies to avoid fatal errors...
How can you easily see what associations my nodes (or any geometry/mesh features) are using? I have a set of nodes that I want to delete, but cannot. I assume they are still using an active association of some sort. Yet, when I delete just about everything from my model tree, I still can't...
I'm trying to roughly connect a plate that sits on top of tubes that lie under the plate, around it's perimeter. The tubes are modeled as beam elements...
I get fatal errors when I use rigid beam elements.
What is the proper method to attach plate elements to beam elements without coinciding...
I am interested in the stress results of combined stresses in beam elements... in my attached example, I'm comparing the results from a "3166. Beam EndB Max Comb Stress" to the "3167. Beam EndB Min Comb Stress" output sets. The "3166...Max..." results shows a max stress at +1840 psi, and the...
What does "target thickness" mean, exactly, when mid-surfacing a solid with multiple thicknesses?
I notice that this input directly effects how it is mid-surfaced, and would sometimes fail the operation if not inputted correctly.
i.e. In one example, using a C channel (without fillets or...
When dealing with surfaces, can someone tell me the difference between "stitch" and "non-manifold add?"
My own theory is that with "stitch," there is a cleanup process that closes gaps between the surfaces of interest. As opposed to "non-manifold add" that has no cleanup process, and only works...
