Hi folks,
If I were to have a 2-7/8" carbon steel pipe with a 2.441" ID (cross sectional area of 1.812"), what is the maximum velocity I could have flowing through it?
As it stands, if I flow 7000 bpd through this pipe, the velocity would be 13.99 ft/sec.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Folks,
Was wondering if anyone could help me on this one? We have a down hole oil tool that we are looking to flush 15% HCL Acid through for one hour. The tool is made up of several components that are NACE 4140 and some are NACE 17/4 material.
